Family Life Council - meets quarterly for lunch and discussion.  The core group provides guidance to the pastor about family life in the parish and participates in planning and maintaining various ministries designed to support our families.

“As For Me and My House” Anti-Pornography Porgram – This Archdiocesan initiative began with Awareness Sunday, a DVD presentation and Theology of the Body study groups. We continue to fight pornography with prayer and education.

College Students’ Care Packages – Our college students receive four care packages a year. Packages include holy cards, bookmarks, and snacks. These young adults know that they are in the prayers and thoughts of the parishioners.

Elizabeth Ministry – The Elizabeth Ministry officially began in our parish on Mother’s Day 2004. Women known as Elizabeth Ministers welcome newborns in the parish with a visit, gift and prayer. Women who have known the heartache of infertility or miscarriage will offer support through prayer, resources and gatherings. All ladies of the parish are invited to participate.

Grief Support Group - Men and women who have lost spouses or other loved ones support each other in friendship and prayer.  Gatherings are typically held on a Wednesday at noon once a month in the parish center small meeting room.  We begin with a meal then may have a guest speaker or open discussion.  Cards from the group are regularly sent to parishioners who have recently lost a loved one.  The group shares resources and articles with the parish through the parish newsletter and bulletin.

Marriage Preparation Lead Couples - Couples who have been married in the Catholic Church for at least five years may volunteer to be a lead couple for our Marriage Preparation program.  Following training, they host sessions in their home for several engaged couples to discuss a variety of topics relating to sacramental marriage.

Silent Strength Prayer Group - Responding to the request of parents whose adult children have left the faith or made immoral decisions, the Family Life Committee has begun the Silent Strength Prayer Group. All are invited to gather to pray for prodigal children, family members and friends before the Blessed Sacrament every first Saturday of the month. We gather by the tabernacle at 10:30am for an hour of prayer for these loved ones.

Young Adults - Resources are available for young adults in the parish.  We welcome those young adults who wish to visit with others and enjoy faith and friendship.

High School Students Gatherings - Please contact the rectory for more information.

Other Family Support - Retreats, articles and other resources are regularly offered to parish families.
